FEGS operates a number of programs designed to assist refugees and immigrants in assessing their current skills, learning new skills, improving their English language and literacy, developing effective job search techniques, and more.
NYSRRAP Employment Preparation Program provides comprehensive services to the Russian-speaking community, including: a New York State licensed mental health clinic; English language and literacy training; U.S. citizenship preparation; computer skills training; and employment counseling.
Pathways to Success, offered in cooperation with UJA-Federation of New York, provides émigrés with skills assessment, job development, job search skills, and job counseling services.
Refugee Social Service Program assists refugees, asylees, and parolees in Brooklyn with employment preparation, job placement, retention, and support services.
Queens Resource and Computer Center serves the Bukharian community and others with access to computer resources and learning opportunities, as well as business, educational, and English language software training programs.
