Community Residences & CR/SROs


Community Residences in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx provide 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, on-site supervision for individuals who have a mental illness, are able to leave hospital care, but are not yet ready for independent living. Residents receive instruction and support in personal daily living skills, monitoring their prescribed medications, community living skills, and avoiding substance abuse. They are encouraged to participate in rehabilitation and vocational program activities outside of the residence.


Community Residences/SRO (Single Room Occupancy), in Manhattan and the Bronx offer another level of transitional living, through individual studio apartments that have their own efficiency kitchens and bathroom facilities, in supervised buildings with on-site case management. & Contact Information -- Back to HTML Version
