F·E·G·S provides a comprehensive array of direct services to 10,000 people each day at more than 300 locations throughout New York City and Long Island. At F·E·G·S you can:

• Volunteer Your Time and Expertise – Assist participants in F·E·G·S programs that help individuals prepare for employment, learn good interviewing skills and prepare effective resumes, or mentor young people who are completing their high school education and pursuing higher education or career options.


• Assist in providing direct, hands-on services to F·E·G·S clients who participate in programs for individuals with behavioral health or developmental disabilities.


• Explore Career Transition and Employment Opportunities in the Nonprofit World – Volunteer your expertise in F·E·G·S administrative and management support departments such as accounting, finance, marketing, public relations, or media.
