In this recession, many of us find ourselves in need of support — even those of us who never expected to need assistance. But the Jewish community is here for you.
UJA-Federation of New York created Connect to Care, an initiative that capitalizes on its unique capacity to respond to a community-wide crisis and use its vast agency network to leverage the services and strengths of nine of the New York area’s most prestigious service agencies and Jewish community centers.
The result is a broad array of services that are coordinated between agencies and which can provide you and your family with the help you need — where you need them — whether it’s near your home, near your job or the neighborhood in which you’re seeking employment, or near some other area location that provides you with the privacy you need. So services are easy to access, discreet, and comprehensive, addressing a broad range of challenges you and your family are facing by providing employment and career counseling, supportive counseling, and legal assistance.
