For more than three decades, F·E·G·S has been a systemic partner to New York City public schools. Our young adult programs deliver core services that help students to achieve specific goals.
These four core services are delivered using the F·E·G·S CareerFirsts™ model developed by F·E·G·S, which provides students with opportunities to engage in career and college preparation activities in the context of their academic program. Students develop their employability through such work preparation activities as career exploration, internships, advisement, and seminars. CareerFirsts™ also emphasizes post-secondary educational preparation in the form of college counseling, visits and fairs, as well as financial literacy and financial aid workshops. Whether pursuing a high school diploma or GED, the CareerFirsts™ curriculum helps students to progress along career paths with support and guidance from their F·E·G·S Advisor. & Contact Information -- Back to HTML Version
