F·E·G·S' Behavioral Health programs address a diverse range of problems experienced by persons with mental illness through Counseling Centers, Continuing Day Treatment Centers, Case Management Programs, Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment Programs and Residential Services. Individual and group services help individuals achieve successful emotional, personal, vocational, social and employment adjustments. Each year, services are provided to more than 19,000 consumers in programs throughout New York City, and on Long Island.

F·E·G·S' Behavioral Health Division manages a network of relationships and affiliations with managed care companies, and insurer’s including contracts for both commercial and Medicaid managed care. This major Division of F·E·G·S has a sophisticated quality improvement and utilization management system, focused on ensuring high quality service delivery to consumers.

F·E·G·S NYS licensed Behavioral Health services are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
