F·E·G·S' Work Service Division offers evaluation, work skills development, counseling, psychiatric services, occupational therapy, and social services to help individuals with disabilities, 16 years of age and older. The goal of these services is to help these individuals progress to functioning in a supported or competitive work environment. These services are provided through: Community Rehabilitation and Training Centers (CRTC), which develop work skills and behaviors to prepare individuals with disabilities for a supported or competitive environment. CRTCs are located in the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn.Integrated Employment Services, which offer opportunities for individuals with disabilities to obtain supported employment and/or competitive employment by providing comprehensive pre-placement services to address both the vocational and clinical aspects of a person's employment needs. Comprehensive Care Centers, which serve individuals with developmental disabilities that require medical and/or habilitative services. The Centers, located in Manhattan and in the Bronx, provide a variety of professional services, such as speech, nutrition, social work, psychological, and rehabilitation counseling.
